live offshore, close to the bottom and near submerged structures, Reefs, both
natural and artificial and are excellent areas to fish.
Grouper
tend to allow their food t fall to
them, so make sure you dangle your bait about a foot off the gulf floor.
Grouper
eat just about anything, but many fishermen swear by chunks of squid or fish.
Live bait, such as pinfish or other small fish, work too.
The most common varieties are the gag and red groupers. Other varieties include black, yellow fin, red hind, rock hind, and scamp.
